Love the way you teach! Only one thing I was wondering, could you do the underpainting in acrylics and have the same effect ? Since they dry so quickly you wouldn’t have to wait overnight? Or it’s not a good idea to mix them ? March 12, 2019 at 1:16 pm RoryReidArt Log in to Reply the background is really nice. March 12, 2019 at 1:39 pm melissa morris Log in to Reply Is there any way you could do some pastels? The other art tutorials are not as good as yours. I absolutely love your channel! Is there anyway to keep my rose from looking too brown when doing this because my rose looks more like a dying rose then a vibrant red one because of my umber under painting March 12, 2019 at 2:38 pm Sonja Gartner Log in to Reply What a great demo… not too much dawdling or talking, time-lapse and explaining works very well! March 12, 2019 at 6:49 pm Joshua Morriston Log in to Reply The methodical way you present everything is very clear and I really enjoy these a lot. Also want to say that adding the little quirky commentary outside of the description of the painting added a lot of value for me. The all-business aspect is incredibly valuable for the presentation, but the little quirky bloopers reel stuff lets us connect to you as a person. Keep up the great work and definitely add these little blooper reels at the end! March 12, 2019 at 7:43 pm Onyx Dragon Log in to Reply What type of glazing medium did you use? Did you purchase it, or did you make it yourself? March 12, 2019 at 8:32 pm CHloE748 Log in to Reply I've been watching a ton of oil videos lately, and thank god I found your videos. I've actually been subscribed for years but I forgot you had oil demos and tutorials lol. I don't know why but the way you teach is so much better and not boring than other "teachers". Please keep uploading oil demos! It's the only medium I haven't got down lol March 12, 2019 at 8:53 pm Annie Feng Log in to Reply I don't know if I'm more impressed by your art skills… or how fast you can talk… March 12, 2019 at 9:11 pm Celsa Desouza Log in to Reply a beautiful painting but how can we see your videos without the speed painting process? March 12, 2019 at 9:58 pm Christian Geier Log in to Reply I love the outtakes at the end 😀 March 12, 2019 at 10:52 pm Heron R Log in to Reply you are freaking awesome!!! everything you do is unbelievable. you inspire me to keep practicing day after day. thank you for sharing your knowledge with us.
