Water soluble oils, Chloe! One molecule changed to bond with water, but otherwise, oils. Non-toxic? They 've got that! Came out so cute, that little bear! Would love to see you try glazing with oils and water soluble oils!
I had to make an oil painting in my painting class during my junior year of highschool and although I was having fun with it, my teacher only gave us a week for the assignment so I wasn't able to make the best piece I could since my teacher was not giving me enough time to let layers dry, there was a crud load of improvising and it didn't even turn out that well, my teacher gave me a C for it and I was sour because I knew I could've done better if had more time. Mind you, I only had half an hour each day to work on it and even if I stayed after school I'd only get an extra 20 minute cause this teacher always had bus duty… I recently bought a cheap set of oil paints, but because the walmart near me didn't have linseed oil I need to buy it online and tbh I don't like the idea of a liquid traveling in the mail so I keep putting it off… I guess I should probably order that soon…
"I'm Going to Bob Ross it," should be a common household saying. Well done! It's a really cute painting, and really great for a first try! I let my first oil painting get mostly dry between layers and it frustrated me so much to not just be able to KEEP PANTING. But I do like how it turned out and I've thought about going back to it again. (Someday, when I have more space perhaps!) I had no idea Cadmium was so dangerous. But I looked it up after watching this and was like, "OH WELL SHOOT." Good to know! Love your videos and your hilariousness! <3

Go lean medium mixed with OMS or turpentine first. Medium is a fat. Use less at first. But since it's in one shot, your ok. Looks great.
its beautiful!!
you really inspired me to go and do some painting

The first time I used oil paints I was dumb and didn’t realize that they were OiL so they wouldn’t be cleaned with water

Lena Danya is a YouTuber who i found to be very informative on oil paints. straightforward
Her accent is so British despite moving to America at a very young age. Cool!!! I wonder if she’s ever explained it
