It helps me with painting wood which I find difficult! I did your beautiful sunset painting and gave it to my brother. I told him who you are. Even showed him. He loved it but the trees were not perfect as yours. Would you think of doing another Sunset painting with some detail? May 13, 2019 at 12:50 pm Joette DePinto Log in to Reply HI Jane, I just wanted you to know how much I enjoy your tutorials. Love this painting. I hope you know how therapeutic your painting techniques are. I suffer from Rheumatoid arthritis and Fibromyalgia. And suffer from a lot of pain in my muscles and joints. I find painting to relax me. It may take me a couple of days or even a week or two to finish a painting but I just work as long as I can then take a break. I truly feel as if it's my own therapeutic session. I just relax and enjoy your session. Your voice is soothing and you don't rush giving me time to really understand what you are doing.Thank you for sharing your talent…. May 13, 2019 at 1:51 pm Gale Whiteman Log in to Reply There will always be thumbs down people; I’m not sure what they are looking for. I take an acrylics class once a week in San Diego. I often tell new arrivals about you and your videos. Some students are expecting more of how you teach…so, I’m always sending them your way. My instructor teaches techniques…and some want to paint a picture. They stay with us; but get enjoyment out of your videos. You are a wonderful instructor Jane. I think this is gonna help me work out my plan for 'my Pansies in Bloom'. Jane, you are an awesome teacher!!! Thru all your tutorials you are slowly, sutterly, moving us forward with skills and techniques. Your detail-(non-detail) is just what I'm working towards. Love, ❤❤, It!! ??? Got it saved to playlist! You are great, thank you ❤️ May 13, 2019 at 8:42 pm Manuela Herr Log in to Reply This is a beautiful painting, dear Jane! I love it! I just have a problem with canvases! I love Fredriks Canvases, but not the red label ones I prefer the blue label or the belgian linen ones with a smooth texture! The problem is,that they are so expensive! In Germany I have lots of trouble finding them and if they are not affordable at all! Could you ask Fredrix where their canvases are available in Germany to an acceptable prize, please? I have seen one Fredrix blue label canvas under the size of 16x20inches on amazon here, for 85€! That is too much money for a single canvas! Great tutorial, dearest Jane! What kind of canvas brand did you use, before you started painting on the Fredrix red label canvases? Be blessed and lots of love from me, Manuela from Germany,to you dearest Jane and Mr. Moon! <3 <3 <3 May 13, 2019 at 8:51 pm Helen DeNoia Log in to Reply love this! May 13, 2019 at 9:33 pm Nid S. Log in to Reply Lovely ? It's really helpful when you show your colour palette and the way you mix your colours. Every artist on youtube should show it, it gives a better idea for the beginner.
