WOW! you are amazing and I thank god I found this channel. I am not a great artist by any means but I have been drawing on and off for many years, self taught. Why I love this the most out of anything I found was I was doing this backwards and it absolutely frustrated the hell out of me as grass would take me hours to do, individual blades I would draw and shade. I wish they had internet when I started cause it would have saved me loads of time and quitting drawing for yrs at a time cause it took way to long and I grew bored with it. This is beautiful and I cannot wait to try it out again but doing it right this time, start with back and work forward instead of doing every blade of grass alone. Don't get me wrong it was beautiful too but wayyyyy to much work, this way is so much more sensible , thank you. I think you just saved another artist from throwing in the towel. Definitely subscribed
Your are the master and so polite in teaching.. I didn't learned any thing from any professional.. I had some God gifted skills and draw simple drawings till 8th grade.. then sometime I draw myself for just my satisfaction.. Somehow I lost my property by fraud, and then lost my only son and wife.. I am not too much educated to find a good job, and not know any skill to earn,. so I started drawing to earn some money, I am old now and also can't draw as good as you can.. so I can't earn too much against my drawings.. but I am hardworking and try to learn more from videos.. infact i can't find much tools and good paper for better results.. just simple HB and 2,4 HB pencils, simple rubber.. but it's OK.. I mange with them.. I am a big fan of you.. praying to be like you.. I am a muslim and we can't draw any pic of human or animal.. it is prohibited in islam.. so I had a little scope to draw, just buildings or sceneries etc.. Pray for me to be an artist like you.. Best wishes for you too.. Sorry for bad english.. Takecare of yourself..
Thanks for the great hints on the eraser. I've always used the scratching the paper method with mixed results. Can't wait for the art supply store to open tomorrow so I can get some fine point erasers and pencil erasers to experiment with.
I see holding the blender away from the tip on the second blending really is like the way you hold the pencil for very light pressure drawing. Interesting how that technique works for so many devices. Thank you
