Love your work and channel! Been following you on IG for a while now. Just wondering if you could do a video about mixing your paint and preparing your palette before you paint? Keep up the amazing work?

Do you add any drying medium to the safflower oil? I'm stuck, and beginning, again. The fumes in a small environment are too much…which I was thankful to find you and what you use.
ALSO…do you use a clear acrylic coat on the pages of your sketch book before using oils?

Yes would definitely want to hear more on this subject. And also what do you think of hyper realism?

Your approach to painting is not dissimilar from Nabokov's approach to literature.

Trompe-l'oeil (french for "fooling the eye") is pronounced "tromp luy" (read this as if you were reading english) ^^

I don't know which I like most: the painting or the voice description of the process. Love love love!

the part where you talk about viewing the painting and having an aha moment verses thinking it may be a photograph is so excellent, i feel like hyper-realism is so boring because of this and because it brings nothing to the table, excellent video and painting, enjoyed the commentary a lot!
