Hi Amie, Great colors in this painting. I agree you have to keep separate brushes for painting. I don't think I follow it closely but its interesting. Must be a challenge going back into acrylic. I personally love acrylics for the quick drying. I miss the fine blending of oils though. If you guys are looking for more acrylic painting, check my channel at ShawNshawN. All the best Amie.

I like the way you explain your drawings, it makes it really easy to follow! Is there a reason why you put his head in the third quadrant?

I think that the first layer of ground should have gone up to the "horizon line" (that she originally drew in with chalk) before laying in the grasses. She didn't do that and I didn't notice it in my painting until too late. 🙂 Lovely as it is, though.

Such a cute animal! Are buff titanium and unbleached titanium pretty much the same thing?

Most people don't realize that painting over the beautiful work you've already done is what lends it realism and depth!!!

According to the information Mark gave us about hedgehogs, which was super cool, painting one and hanging it on the wall is best way to own one!!
