I’ve been getting a lot of questions on this video that hopefully I’ll be able to answer in this pin or if you would like a Q&A about me and my current life/style please let me know and you can reply some more questions/suggestions to be answered! Firstly “what markers did I use in this video?” – I used Copic markers which are alcohol based and blend beautifully together I highly recommend them except they’re very expensive and depending on where you live hard to get. In the states you can find these markers individually or in small packs at your local Michael’s art store or hobby shops. Otherwise they are available online either at the Copic store or Amazon in a range sizes of sets. Keep in mind they’re shipping from Japan and might not reach all countries. I’m currently living in Germany and it’s very hard for me to find an art store or seller who’s willing to have the large sets shipped to them for me to pick up and purchase. “What is the liquid you’re using under the colors that make them blend?” – Copics are alcohol based instead of water based like crayolas and many other markers. Both have pros and cons for their own types and I love to try everything I can. The marker I use underneath the hair and other places is called the colorless blender which is its own marker that has more distilled alcohol and no pigment. This marker helps the other markers blend and mix more seamlessly but has its own disadvantages. The colorless blender has a tendency to lift the pigment and spread the pigment which causes less vibrant colors and frayed out edges. The colors change purely because you’re raising the alcohol to pigment ratio and that’s what causes the dulling of the individual color. “What colors did I use” – this question is very hard to answer because this video was filmed in 2013 and it’s currently 2018, needless to say I don’t remember. I do know the skin tones is all E colors the dark is E11 barley beige and the light is E00 skin white and these colors come in a 6 set called “skin tones” from michaels and many hobby stores. The other browns for the hair might’ve come from the same set but I’m not sure which specific colors those are I just remember those were the only skin tone colors I had at the time.
Thank you all so much for your patience, support, and critique.
Coloring hair with natural highlights is something I struggle to do, along with coloring eyes. I'm pretty good at coloring/ shadowing skin and clothes, but I can't comprehend how to properly color/ shadow the other two. Thanks for this video! It helps a ton!
I have some question What's the white pen she uses called also could I grt the eye and hair color numbers so I can but them I have a charecter that need the colors. And I wanna buy them
This is fantastic! This is the first time I watched one of your videos. I was looking through Draw with Jazza's channel and saw this. AMAZING!!!!!!!😁😁😁😁😁
