Using the gamsol for the underpainting or priming it's better than linseed oil, linseed oil doesn't speed up the drying time, it makes it longer. fat over lean rule. January 29, 2021 at 12:31 pm Kezitopia Log in to Reply Thank you !!! I tried oil painting before and I had most of the things. I even had artist grade oil paint from my mom but I didn’t have a proper canvas. So I decided to “diy” and make my own using A 4 sized paper 🤦🏾♀️😂 and as I was painting I just left it to dry and I came back to see oil seeping out !!!! Now I know how to use it properly so thank you very much!!! January 29, 2021 at 12:33 pm jackierose11 Log in to Reply @Seeing_in_color !!!!!!!!!
