This was one of the first tutorials I watched when I started my journey of learning to paint in acrylics. I was in awe of the painting as it is so beautiful💕💕 I remember thinking I will never be able to paint that!!!! So after 20 plus of painting your tutorials I have managed to paint it and yippee,!!!! I am really pleased with how it has turned out. I would like to thank you for teaching me how to paint such a beautiful painting 💕💕 March 26, 2021 at 11:40 am CHERYL P WATTS Log in to Reply So sweet! Love love love this !!!❤️ March 26, 2021 at 1:30 pm Joanne gee Log in to Reply Is there a reason you sometimes put your backgrounds in with a thin rather sketchy look? Is this painterly? March 26, 2021 at 2:17 pm sharon allen Log in to Reply Just like tribbles. haha. love the star trek reference…. March 26, 2021 at 2:51 pm sharon allen Log in to Reply so pretty March 26, 2021 at 3:20 pm Dario Wirtha Log in to Reply Here are some constructive criticism. How about less talk on irrelevant things and focus on how to mix colors, alternative colors, how to sketch out a person. I think you zap through the important things. Otherwise I'm a fan. March 26, 2021 at 5:00 pm Melody Guzman Log in to Reply Hi Cinnamon! Thank you so much for all you do for us. You are an amazing artist – but that's not all!! You are an ART THERAPIST, Amazing Coach and Counselor. You truly have the gift of mercy and compassion and have been a tremendous blessing to me over the years, reaching those of us a little weak in spirit and providing encouragement and confidence. It's so interesting because I was gridding a piece the other day and had an epiphany very similar to what you shared in this tutorial. Basically, life is like a painting. Sometimes, we can only focus on one square at a time, one day at a time, one step at a time, one challenge at a time. Some days, only one minute at a time–no matter what may be happening around us….. Sometimes, we see an image in our mind of what something "should" look like finished and approach the challenge as a "whole" instead of one square at a time and we feel overwhelmed and frustrated and may even give up. Art teaches us so much about life. My art journey began many years ago when I watched you for the first time at a very dark time in my life and you rekindled my love for art that had been buried along with my self esteem. A series of events had left me feeling hopeless and that my life was over. Your videos have been a very large piece of my own emotional, spiritual and artistic healing. I live in Oregon and hydrangeas are gorgeous due to the rainfall. I have a huge one on the side of my house in memory of my grandma. This piece reminds me of my grandma's house as she had one that reached her roof! I have fond memories of spending time amongst the beautiful puffs of color as a child. This little girl is a flash back of a bright spot in my childhood of warm days baking banana bread and watering the hydrangeas with my loving grandmother. God Bless and THANK YOU BOTH!!!
