hi thank you so much for sharing you beautiful work. your tuition is so calming precise and detailed almost like mediation. ive tried some different styles and settled on botanical illustration in water colour however i still searched YouTube for artists that might inspire and now i need look no further, i found you. if you can find the equivalent to a sole mate in a painting your work is it. i watch your tutorials over and over. and the first thing i want to do afterwards is grab a canvas. i never felt this way about my work before. it feels like i finally found my self. once again thankyou so very much you are an amassing artist and teacher. kindest regards kay.????

When I apply my gesso and apply strokes and texture when it drys the gesso runs back and have less texture remain can you help ? Thank you

That is gorgeous. Watched it before I started but must not have paid too much attention cause I didn’t realize you had to redo part of it. So I ended with giant tree to. Well, then I attempted to fix the way you did but ended up redoing everything. Was sad at first but the second time around my left hand trees came out so much better. So happy mistake. Now I’m going to do my big right hand tree. I’ll post it in a while.
Love the fact you show mistakes and fixes. Even when you add to much water to liner brush. Your groupies love you.
Thank you! This is beautiful! I do like how you correct your mistakes and I can learn from that. I have quite a few I haven’t finished because I didn’t know how to correct them. Maybe I can go back and paint over the mistake to start over.
