By any chance have you folks ever heard of Young Eagles? Not certain where you guys are located but there are different EAA Chapters located at most General Aviation Airports. If you go on their website they'll be able to assist you with scheduling these young ones by the ages of 8-17. Some meet every Saturdays like Historic Flabob Airports does out here in California. Hope this helps, thank you for your tips. Can you use oils ontop of acrylics or will they mix?

I've never tried oils before, I think I'm gonna have to at least give them a play. Wow, I had to add this to my favorites so I can refer back to it time after time! Bravo! ?????????sharing too in case some on missed it!

Hi there Lindsay… You did a great job on the oil painting!!! I am wanting to get back into painting. I have not painted since I was in school except for painting on wood or objects but for painting pictures it's been many many years for me!!! My B-day was just the end of last month and my husband took me and got me some Tube Acrylic paints and Tube Water Color Paints from JoAnns but have not gotten the chance to crack them open yet. I have been waiting on some brushes and the paint pallets from Ebay to come in. I have been thinking about getting me some Oil Paints also. The Oils look like they blend easier! What paints do you like to paint with the most or do you have a favorite and if you do Why? Oh ya.. befor I forget.. I think that you have done such a great thing here with this!!! I have shared it on everything I could think to share it on!!! God BLess you for doing this and have a great day!!!

Awesome. I love that you share your thought process. It's one thing to do something, quite another to explain WHY you do it. It's immensely helpful. Thanks.

Beautiful reflections! Were you using linseed oil to thin the paints at all?
