I thought that lighter vaues = warmer temperature, and darker values have slightly colder temperature? Unless you mean atmospheric depth – ie: out the window very distant hills may appear slightly grey-blue?
I like to make my own frames so that they tie in with the painting. Sometimes I struggle with the color of the framing though. I was wondering how you choose the grey frame for your painting?
I just tried my first oil painting last week. It turned out ok. Could've done a better work with the blending. I want to know, do people use like solvents to thin out paint and make it blend easier? If so what solvents do people use?

Sergey you certainly are a talented artist. I found this tutorial very helpful with skin tone, hair and eyes and the use of shadow tones. Well done
