When I float, I use a small spray bottle, & spray some water on my pallet paper. The water beads up on the paper, giving me tiny to medium sized beads of water. When my brush gets a little dry, I just tip it into one or more of the beads, & work it into my brush. That way I get exactly how much moisture I'm looking for, instead of dunking it into my basin & having to start over. Learned this trick from a decorative painter many years ago.

Sara. I think adding the floating to your wood burning is so unique. I love it!
