That castle looks like it belongs there so well. I love your technique! . This video displays well that you need to make use of the value of everything when getting a sunset effect. When I started painting castles, I would literally start off painting it completely black, and then dabbing in the stone structures with a lighter grey, without any consideration of value. At first it seems instantly rewarding because its easy to see such light colors on top of black, but then later on, I'd realize I should've added more color because I limited myself with how dynamic the castle could've looked. And you displayed how to make at castle look stunning without the use of harsh blacks or whites. I love your technique of mixing a more colorful base, and then drawing in the lights/darks, it really makes the painting look sharp and alive!

The outlines on the castle might be a little too bold. Own its own it looks good, but it doesn't fit the background. It can be easily fixed however.

That was so helpful with mixing of colors , that was always my problem and details too.
I always wanted to learn how to be a good painter, but it was hard because the people that were teaching me were talking too much confusing me. They also would take over your work and do it for you. That was more confusing.
You came along and set up everything that was needed the brushes, water and also the colors which was more important than anything else. How you set them up in rows and naming them. I learned so much just listening to you talking slowly, with so much information just with the right instructions naming everything putting the colors in so nicely.
Your voice was clear and calm and straight to the point. Thank you so much.
I will keep watching you paint so I can learn more and do it on my own.
I'm mostly an arts and crafts person, but I do love to paint too. I'm very creative in making things, but I needed the right person to teach me cuz with colors, names of things I was not good at all it was one of my disabilities, but when somebody has the patient and the proper instructions I learn it fast.
Thank you so much for your help.
My name is Nilda Lebron I'm proud to say I am an artist thanks to you.?

Un bonjour de France :)) J'aime beaucoup vos peintures. Sur certaines toiles, je retrouve un petit côté Vladimir Kush

Your dog painting is great. Do you paint the dog in first then the background around him?

Your last tutorial really helped me a lot especially in terms of technique. I’ve been used to working with blues (Prussian blue, pthalo blue, ultramarine blue and a few yellows) so I felt really stuck when trying to use pinks or reds…it would just throw me off for some reason lol. I can’t wait to try this one!!! Stuff like this would intimidate me so much and you make it less intimidating and more approachable.
