(self taught), using acrylics & have always had such a difficult time painting a cloudy sky. You've solved the problem: the clouds were too harsh & needed to be blended better. Wow! So simple. Is there really a bad/wrong way of doing art when you think about it.
Everyone will have different imaginations, styles, likes, dislikes and for a lot of people art is a form of self expression and the best way to do that is just to let it flow.
There’s not really any such thing as bad art and just because something isn’t fine and detailed it doesn’t really deserve to be labelled as wrong or bad.
